Ruff

London, UK

I spent my day making my ruff for my Queen of Hearts Character. One thing I have learnt throughout the project is that I often cut my self short with time. I think that something will be a quick job when it's definitely not. The ruff was no different. I'd convinced myself that the ruff will only take a couple of hours whereas the mask may take a lot longer but it was actually the opposite.
Due to my chosen plastic fabric it was quite hard to pierce the fabric with the needle when hand sewing the ruff. I should have allowed more time as this resulted to my sewing not being overly neat.

I was however happy with my final result of the ruff and I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to create one from scratch. I look forward to making a different style ruff in the future!
